Instructions for Using Services at AMARE
Step 1: Using the HYDROTHERAPY – ONSEN Area
- Store personal belongings and clothes in your designated locker, which corresponds to the key provided at the reception desk.
- Rinse off with clean soap and water before entering the hot spring bath.
- Use a small towel to cover intimate areas if necessary, and avoid letting the towel touch the water in the bathtub.
Refer to the following procedure when using the Onsen service:
1. SILK BATH (10 minutes) ➡ MINERAL BATH (10 minutes) ➡ WET SAUNA (10 minutes) ➡ RINSE OFF ➡ COLD BATH (2 minutes)
2. WET SAUNA (10 minutes) ➡ DRY SAUNA (5 minutes) ➡ RINSE OFF ➡ COLD BATH (2 minutes)
Note: Take a hot bath or sauna before entering the cold bath.
- Drink purified water after bathing and sauna to hydrate and improve skin.
- Change into fresh clothes in the Onsen area and bring a large towel when moving to the HEAT THERAPY – JJIMJILBANG area.
Step 2: Using the HEAT THERAPY – JJIMJILBANG Area
- Here, guests alternate between various hot sauna rooms such as volcanic rock sauna, Ganban rock sauna, precious stone sauna, etc., and a cold sauna room (snow sauna), infrared sauna, Hinoki oxygen room.
Note: Use the hot sauna before entering the cold sauna.
- The optimal time for each sauna session is 15 – 20 minutes, which may vary depending on individual conditions. Rest time between sauna sessions usually lasts from 5 – 7 minutes.
Step 3: Other Services
- Replenish energy after bathing and sauna with the Restaurant area, serving Vietnamese – Japanese – Korean cuisine.
- Relax in the leisure area (reading area).
- Explore the Children’s Play Zone with activities: sculpture, coloring, sand painting, archaeology.
- There is a designated smoking room for guests.
Additionally, guests can experience other services such as spa treatments, hair care, gym workouts, wearing yukata, etc.
NOTES WHEN USING THE SERVICES
Notes for Onsen Bathing
- People with long hair should tie it up or use a head covering.
- Avoid splashing or disturbing others in the bath.
- Limit wearing jewelry while bathing.
- Be careful not to splash water onto others nearby.
- No swimming or jumping into the hot spring bath.
- Please dry off before entering the changing room.
Notes for Jjimjilbang Sauna
- Read the instructions at the entrance of each sauna room carefully.
- For the snow room, you can sit in the padded room (cold room) for 5 minutes before entering the snow room.
- Enter the Hinoki oxygen room to replenish oxygen after using the hot saunas.
- Drink water continuously after using the hot stone saunas.
- Do not bring food or drinks from outside into the sauna rooms.
- Do not play loud music from your phone.
- Do not talk on the phone inside the sauna rooms.
- Avoid swimming or bathing immediately after using the sauna.
- Rest for about 30 minutes after using the therapy saunas.
General Notes
Eat lightly and avoid being overly hungry or full before using the Onsen or sauna.
For a perfect relaxation space, please avoid making noise.

No. Phones, cameras and other electronic devices should not be used in the changing area or onsen bathing area. This rule protects guest privacy and keeps the experience comfortable for everyone.
A recommended AMARE flow includes about 10 minutes in the silk bath, 10 minutes in the mineral bath, 10 minutes in the wet sauna, then a rinse and around 2 minutes in the cold bath. Guests should adjust the time based on their own condition and avoid staying too long.
Guests who are heavily intoxicated, have infectious diseases, open wounds, uncontrolled heart conditions, high blood pressure, diabetes, vestibular disorders or other uncontrolled medical conditions should avoid using the onsen. Pregnant guests should consult a medical professional before using heat-based services.
After sauna, allow your body to cool down first, wipe off sweat and drink water. At AMARE, guests are advised to rest for a while after sauna or therapy rooms before continuing with other activities. Avoid rushing into a cold shower if you feel tired, dizzy or uncomfortable.
